General Info

The interplay between gap junction dependent cell to cell communiction, ion channels, neurotransmitter receptors and metabolite transporters allows the function of organs, such as the heart or the brain.

In the group of cell physiology and cellular mechanics (Prof. Dr. Anaclet Ngezahayo) we work on the understanding of this interplay using physiological and molecular biological techniques combined with cell-imaging methods.

We invite students to come and help us to reinforce our research, when taking their degree (Doktor thesis, Diploma thesis, Master thesis, Bachelorart thesis). We offer also Labor training in the different topics of our research. We are look forward to meeting students of Biology, Life Science, Biochemistry, Biomedical techiniques, Plant biotechnology and Physics who are interested by Cell Physiology and Cell Biology .
